I recently visited Fubonn too, but I hadn’t realized that they had such a variety of noodles and vegan/gluten-free options! http://adventuresinazianland.wordpress.com/2011/12/07/the-real-azian-land/ I think it’s really awesome that these sorts of alternatives are offered, (even though I don’t need/prefer them myself) especially when there is such a big community of those people around Portland. I can’t help but wonder if they have these types of things because that’s the type of noodles/rices/those sorts of things that they eat normally, or because they’re marketing towards the people in the area who would buy those products.

Those noodles look so tasty! So what does vegetarian fish sauce taste like? I hated fish in my meaty days, so I’m scared to try veggie fish sauce…but I keep eyeing at the Asian market.
