MAN that looks good! I am going to grow peas solely for these heavenly looking greens! Broad beans too!…cheers for this wonderful post and a fantastic idea for what to cook in the wood stove tonight for a gorgeous dinner…might throw in a bottle of that Cab but add some sav to it and its on!

I put pea shoots in my fruit smoothies. They taste yummy and fresh without that overwhelming “kale in the strawberry smoothie” flavor.

oh, what a great post. I lived in Seattle for a couple of years after college – when there were just 2 veggie restaurants. Back in the day! I haven’t been back in probably 10+ years, and I love hearing about all the exciting vegan glory to be discovered. I must go back!

We are so far behind you in Australia with allowing Vegans to eat when they are out. I live in Tasmania where vegetarians are “freaks” and vegans are aliens. I get heartily sick of having to order “chips” and hope that they have not been cooked in animal fat as my only alternative. It all looks so easy for you guys… in fact…positively scrumptious! I am going to keep watching my inbox for more of these delicious posts to tide me over until I can afford to open my own cafe and give the poor vegetarians and vegans of Tasmania somewhere to congregate without fear!

no, dumbass. i ate the sauce and it tasted like melted, processed trash. it’s absolutely fucking disgusting and you should feel bad for having such a terrible palate if you actually enjoy it.
